Keeping a Clean Root Directory

Speeding up your LOGIN.COM

Just about all process under your username, executes your LOGIN.COM file, even most windows created on your workstation. Putting in the proper logic in your LOGIN.COM file can significantly speed up your sessions.

Don't Quote Me Please

One of the most common DCL faux pas is overuse of quotes. Specifically the use of single quotes for symbol substitution inside double quoted character strings. Come read the page on proper quoting, but please don't quote me!
